GARBAGE COLLECTION GUIDELINES
FOR
RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES

Roll Cart Application

RESIDENTIAL: In accordance with the Town of Town of Moncks Corner/Suburban Container Company contract, each household will obtain at least one (1) ninety-six (96) gallon roll cart for household garbage, and will be provided household garbage service a maximum of one (1) time per week. All household garbage must be placed inside the roll cart and placed curbside NO LATER THAN 6:00 a.m. Plastic bags will NOT be collected unless they are placed inside the roll cart. Carts must be placed as close to the roadside as practical without interfering with or endangering the movement of vehicles or pedestrians. Contractor may decline to collect any cart not so placed.

COMMERCIAL: Commercial curbside garbage will be collected twice (2) per week. All garbage MUST be placed inside the ninety-six (96) gallon roll cart and placed curbside NO LATER THAN 8:30 a.m. on collection day. Carts must be placed as close to the roadside as practical without interfering with or endangering the movement of vehicles or pedestrians. Contractor may decline to collect any cart not so placed.

ADDITIONAL ROLL CARTS FOR GARBAGE DISPOSAL: May be obtained from the Town of Moncks Corner to office by application and a $35.00 non-refundable deposit.  An additional cost of $10.00 per month for residential and $15.00 per month for commercial will be added to your water bill for the service.

CARDBOARD BOXES: Must be broken-down and placed inside rollcarts.

BULK ITEMS: Metal appliances, such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, etc. will be collected AFTER all yard debris has been picked up.  Furniture and other non-metal items such as vacuum cleaners, bicycle tires, small BBQ grills, etc. will be collected one time per week and must be placed at curbside on your roll cart collection day. Contractor will NOT pick up construction debris i.e. lumber, windows, doors, etc.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULES: will be announced in the local community newspapers.
